Jose Carlos Castillo Muñoz

My family has always been surrounded by horses since my father that was dedicated to the bread. From a very young age and in a familiar equestrian environment, I was able to develop my career and my passion for riding.

I was born in Jaén where I started practicing the sport of dressage modality at a very early age but currently I live in Ronda (Malaga) in southern Spain, where I work in my own facilities as sports director of the Ronda Dressage high performance center, training horses And riders for the international competition and being advisor of breeding of sport studs, all this, combined with the training of the National Defense of Mexico.

In my step by round (RMR) I took to work with Jose Carlos. With an ironic humor peculiar to him, I would emphasize his almost infinite patience. It’s well done and the support it is always providing in the people it trusts. During my three years of training, I spent a lot of time with him. Since in addition to training in the Maestranza, we worked together the Colts in their private stables. It's been many hours, Many trips and many experiences in which I could not highlight a negative. His treatment with the horses always respectful and watching over his health and quality of life are things that I loved to see in a rider of his stature. I loved every moment of it! Jose takes great care of the horses, and is always incredibly accommodating to every horses' needs! Not only is he an accomplished rider, but also has a gift of getting the message across to the rider , in a calm and easy manner, yet with great results!
